"Damn It, Mom!"

Brykn has a complete come-undone if his shirt is untucked. He was wrestling me and being really rough. So, I untucked the back of his shirt. Wow! That lit a fire! After he threw his fit and went back to wrestling, I untucked the front of his shirt and that was the last straw. Out of no where he said, "DAMN IT, MOM!" Brandon lost it--he was laughing (into his folded arm) so hard that he spit Coke out his nose. I said to Brykn while trying not to laugh myself, "Brykn, you don't say that word. That's not a nice word." To which he responded, in a quieter voice than the first time but with just as much passion, "Damn it, Mom." I was stunned and Brandon was now struggling to catch his breath through laughter. I responded, "The next time you say that, you will get hot sauce in your mouth." And the response I got...

"Well, how hot is the hot sauce, Mom?"

I was speachless. 100% speechless. And Brandon? Face beat red, tears rolling down the cheeks and coke dripping from his chin in complete laughter. I'm in for it...really in for it...

I'm a lucky Mommy!

I am such a lucky mom. I have been blessed with two of the cutest kids in the entire world. All decked out in their St. Patrick's Day green, they look so cute! I got up early before Brykn woke up and made a green breakfast--green eggs and green milk! Brykn was convinced that the Easter Bunny must've done it! Ummmmm...wrong holiday, but okay! This launched a whole explanation about rainbows, leprechauns, and four-leaf clovers. What a long conversation!

First Youth Rodeo

Some have heard of a rhinestone cowboy. I have a karate cowboy! We go from a karate uniform to cowboy hat and boots in 10 seconds flat! The first youth rodeo was last week and Brykn had a great time. He roped the dummy in 7. seconds and plucked the ribbon from the goat in a little more than that. He was really proud of himself and I was even more proud!

Champion!

So Brykn is a regular karate champion! He was well prepared for the competition and he did great. Here's a few pictures and a video of him saying the introduction he had to memorize. Great job, my little punchencato one dude!

One Year Old--I can't believe it!

I really can't believe Harlee is one year old. It has gone by SO fast. She's gone from a tiny little premie baby with dark black curly hair, to a chunky little cutie with straight blonde hair-what a transformation! At one year, she's still not walking...but then again, why walk when you know your Mom will take you anywhere you want to go? Ha! She can say Mamma, Dad, Thank you, and There you go. And, I just got her hair cut for the first time on Friday--OMG!

I can't believe what a blessing she has been. So fun and so special! Thank heavens for little one-year-old girls!
